Controls / Automation Engineer

Atronix Engineering is seeking qualified and highly motivated automation controls engineers to join our team. We are searching for ambitious candidates who desire a challenging career filled with creativity and innovation. 

This position encompasses all aspects of Controls System Engineering and Information Systems development, as well as Project Management. 

Job Tasks and Duties: 

• Controls project planning (i.e., project scheduling/phasing, subcontract planning, resource planning, budget planning, commissioning planning)
• Review of project requirements & definition and the formulation of project specifications (i.e., functional, design, etc.)
• Verification and validation of engineered systems (hardware and/or software) to specifications
• Project risk analysis
• All aspects of control system execution, from hardware design, system design, network design, software development (PLC and/or PC related systems), and system commissioning.
• Involved in technical, system architecture and application concepting
• Progress monitoring of engineering and installation subcontractor
• Interface with clients as well as subcontractors and solve issues and problems to satisfaction of company and client.

Job Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or eq.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in implementation of control systems
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written skills
• Decision making ability
• Ability to deal with experienced, multidisciplinary, technical specialists
• Ability to coordinate small to large projects independently
• Knowledgeable of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles
• Skilled in Engineering science: Logic and Programming
• Ability to design and program PLC's , SCADA systems, Database applications
• Significant electrical aptitude and knowledge of acceptable practices, techniques, and codes
• Skills in AutoCAD, MS Office suite, and MS Project
• PLC experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & CompactLogix), Modicon and Siemens (S7).
• HMI experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Intellution and WinCC.


Software Engineer

REBOL Controls Engineer

Atronix Engineering, Inc. seeks REBOL Controls Engineer for the following tasks and duties.

Job Tasks and Duties

  • Build the driver, API, framework and also the industrial applications to talk to and control PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) based automation projects
  • Rebuild existing SCADA projects to be web and mobile compatible
  • Create reusable API library for projects to be development standard
  • Update existing functions, fix bugs mainly for real-time networking and information broadcasting
  • Build SCADA REBOL framework in pattern of MVC.

Skills and Requirements

  • Full-time position.
  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

Controls Engineer

Atronix Engineering, Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer to:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of future control systems, system integration and implementation for new equipment and processes - designing Control System Architecture.
  • Provide support to project teams, relative to design standards, responsible for installation, commissioning and validation of control systems.
  • Making programming changes to PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens) under supervision of a senior engineer.
  • Making programming changes to HMI systems under supervision of senior engineer.
  • Troubleshoot and debug control systems and programs.
  • Provide standby support for automated systems.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
  • Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, or systems for commercial, industrial, or domestic purposes.

Must have Master’s Degree in Engineering.
